Meet the founder
Co-Founder and CEO
Eugen Brikcius, Co-Founder and CEO of lechef, possesses over 10 years of experience and proven history as an influential start-up CEO. His previous companies have been successfully exited to the like of Alibaba and MAF Holdings in the GCC.

In 2012, he became one of the founding members of Lazada Philippines and was responsible for recruiting the marketing team and aided in the successful exit to Alibaba for $3.2 billion.
Then, as the Co-CEO of the ride-hailing company Jeeny, a JV between Rocket Internet an Imena, he helped to raise 14m USD in Series A and B, built a profitable business having 300 employees within the GCC and Pakistan.
In 2018, he became the CEO of Wadi.com, a eCommerce and grocery platform. Wadi.com secured the largest Series A funding in the Middle East at $67 million. It also successfully exited MAF Holdings.
In 2023, he became the Global Managing Director at Foodics, enabling the platform to power over 30,000 restaurants in the GCC.
Now, at lechef, Eugen aims to transform workplace dining with smart solutions for employees in Saudi Arabia and beyond.
